For OBS on Windows and Mac
Register first (free)
One registration covers both the script and the quick version. It is the same as Free BGM and is remembered per browser; on another PC or browser, register again with the same details.
- In OBS, open Tools → Scripts, click “+” and choose the downloaded
yuheimiura-bgm.lua. It starts playing right away - Choose the scene, the tracks for each scene and the look in the script window
- Make your own playlists from the tracks; they show up as scenes, and you can reorder tracks by dragging (or with Move up / Move down in the script window). Every scene can play in shuffle or in order
- Pick the track that plays first in each scene (the ☆ next to a track in the dock, or the script window). It plays first when you choose that scene and when OBS starts
- Tracks marked
LOOPhave a seamless loop version. Turn on Repeat to switch to it; it keeps playing until you press Next. The “Loop” scene gathers only those tracks - For the control panel, paste the “Dock URL” from the script window into Docks → Custom Browser Docks
- Next, pause, repeat and each scene come with default hotkeys (such as
Ctrl+Alt+Shift + F13–F20; change them in OBS Settings → Hotkeys). Switch tracks and moods without leaving your game - With a Stream Deck, just press “Add buttons to Stream Deck” in the script window. It installs a plugin, and “yuhei miura BGM” appears in the action list. Drag any button onto any key of your own profile (Stream Deck 7.1 or later)
- It updates itself when a new version is released
To hear the BGM yourself
In the Audio Mixer, open “⋮” → Advanced Audio Properties and set Audio Monitoring for “yuhei miura BGM” to “Monitor and Output”.
If you hear crackling only in your own ears, go to Settings → Audio → Advanced in OBS and set the Monitoring Device to your actual headphones or speakers instead of “Default” (this can happen on Windows). If it still happens, try a different output device for monitoring — it can depend on the device. It does not affect your stream or recording.
Quick version: just paste a URL
No script needed: paste a URL into a Browser source. Switch moods from the Interact window.
LookStart from a preset, then fine-tune
PositionWhere it sits inside the source box
If the source is as large as your canvas, the player appears where you choose here. At the default size, bottom-left is fine.
URL for OBS
- In OBS, add a new “Browser” source
- Paste the URL. You can leave the size at the default (800 × 600)
- Check “Control audio via OBS” so the music is captured
- Uncheck “Shutdown source when not visible”
- Drag the box wherever you like and you’re done. Drag a corner to resize
To pin it to a corner of the screen, set the size to your canvas (e.g. 1920 × 1080); it then appears where you chose in “Position”.
Pause and play
- Click the source’s eye icon to hide it and pause; show it to resume
- Right-click the source → “Interact” and hover over the player for Pause, Next and mood buttons
- Adjust the volume in the OBS audio mixer
- Add the same player to every scene where you want music (“Add Existing”). It pauses in scenes without it

To change the look, create a new URL here and replace it.
The Free BGM terms apply to tracks played by the player. The overlay shows the credit, so you may skip it in your description.
